Hello you lovelies! Thank you for taking the time to join me on my blog today for a Spring update - you are all most welcome!
In these unprecedented times we find ourselves in, I have been spending a lot of my time in self isolation catching up with the many books I've been wanting to read for ages. I've been losing myself in tales from around the globe, enjoying a virtual trip through the stories that have taken me to magical places from the comfort of my own home.
My Hamptons series is set in the Cotswolds and features the fictional villages of Hampton Ash and Hampton Waters, known as 'the Hamptons'. The two villages nestle on the edge of the beguiling Cotswold countryside and if you've ever visited this part of the UK you will know just how picturesque and inviting it is. In my latest release, Fame and Fortune, we find our charcters taking a visit to another beautiful area of the UK - Cornwall - and I'd like to share a bit more about this story with you now.
Fame and Fortune - where village life is far from ordinary!
We welcome the popular weight loss guru Georgina Fame to the Hamptons who makes her glittering entrance at village favourites Poppy and Richard Hambly-Joneses dinner. This beauty has a colourful history and when she organises a week’s retreat to Cornwall, how will an encounter with the past shake her carefully built confidence?
Diana Fortune is back and leads a merry dance (troupe)!
Having become quite the celebrity, Diana Fortune puts the newly formed Fortunettes through their paces in preparation for the Cotswolds County Majorette of the Year competition. As a case of bullying threatens to unbalance the group, questions are raised when Lily Hambly-Jones is uncovered as the culprit. Could such a caring girl be capable of tormenting her peers?
A cozy story with a twist (or two)!
Newcomer Lucy Whittaker is shocked when her only child Ian suddenly announces that he’s off on an internship. When he goes completely off the radar, Lucy begins to fear that all is not as Ian has led her to believe...
When Tiggy and Harry go into partnership with the Roses’, LC’s Bistro and Wine bar is born. Will their efforts bring a touch of glamour to the Hamptons?
Fame and Fortune is a tale of family conflict, deceit, broken hearts and redemption... Well... this is the Hamptons after all!
How is Daz Rice connected to Fame and Fortune?
When I created the Majorette storyline in Fame and Fortune, I needed a song that the Fortunettes could perform their routine to. Having come across Daz Rice's debut album, Precious Times - and listening to it over and over again - I was immediately drawn to one of these songs. Daz is a talented musician, singer, songwriter and recording artist. If you haven't listened to any of his music, I urge you to do so. You can find out more about Daz and also purchase a copy of his debut album from his website

Work in progress!
A massive thank you to my readers who have enjoyed my books for all your kind messages. I really enjoy receiving your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to contact me. Many of you have asked about forthcoming stories - desperate to follow on from the dramatic ending of Fame and Fortune! Well, fear not my friends. I can assure you that book 4 is forthcoming - in fact, I plan to write many more in this series - but I don't plan to write the next one until 2021.
I am currently working on a standalone story which I hope to release later in 2020 and there are a couple of exciting projects that I will be working on thereafter. More details of which are to follow soon.
Happy reading and I look forward to catching up with you again soon.
Take care of yourselves and stay safe.
